International students are encouraged to apply for admission to the International Academy of Design & Technology in Orlando. All applicants to our Orlando career training programs must meet the same admission requirements as United States citizens. When foreign students apply for admission, transcripts and / or certificates of completed post-secondary credits with notarized translation are requested if the student seeks transfer of previously earned credit to the Academy.
Students whose native language is not English may be required to take the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL), and receive a score of 550 on a paper-based TOEFL or 213 on a computer-based TOEFL (or its equivalent), or demonstrate English proficiency through other measures established by the school.
An affidavit of financial support should be submitted and then a Form I-20 (Immigration Certificate of Acceptance) will be provided to the applicant. The school is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant students.
