IADT-Detroit Global Game Jam

IADT-Detroit is proud to be one of 220-plus sites worldwide for this year's Global Game Jam (GGJ). GGJ is the world's largest game jam event, occurring annually in late January and bringing together thousands of game enthusiasts participating through many local jams around the world. GGJ is a project of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA).

Jam Logistics

  • When: 4 p.m. Jan 27 - 6 p.m. Jan. 29
  • Where: IADT-Detroit, 1850 Research Drive, Troy, MI
  • Entrance Fee: $35

  • The site will remain open for entire 48 hours.

  • Who can participate:  College students and industry professionals

  • Age restrictions: 18+ years only

  • Available tools or technology: PC, Mac, Unity, UDK, Flash, Photoshop and more ...

  • Security: This site has onsite security
