At the International Academy of Design & Technology – Orlando, you’ll find a conveniently located campus in the heart of Central Florida. Students have access to a variety of features and services while attending our design school in Florida.
Located just minutes from the Orlando International Airport and downtown Orlando, the Academy is adjacent to major thoroughfares and is accessible from all of Central Florida.
Our beautiful campus has two locations within walking distance of each other, housing classroom facilities, laboratories and offices. Students may attend classes at various times during each class week. Students will find at these campus settings:
CLASSROOMS designed to facilitate learning, consisting of lecture rooms, drafting labs, design studios, and sewing and pattern-drafting rooms. Small, informal classes encourage student / faculty interaction, so students may receive individual attention to help them reach their potential.
COMPUTER LABS equipped with Macintosh and IBM-compatible personal computers for instruction and practice in: computer-aided design (CAD), graphic design, web development, programming, sound and video editing, word processing, and database management.
LIBRARY, containing books, periodicals, pamphlets, articles and audiovisual support materials geared to supplement the programs of study. This continually expanding collection includes a wide variety of reference materials.
BOOKSTORE, with books and supplies used in courses taught at the Academy. Buy-back periods are also coordinated.
STUDENT LOUNGES AND OUTDOOR PATIOS, serving as information centers for all students at both locations. Bulletin boards with announcements of upcoming events are found in these areas at all sites.
ACCESSIBLE STAFF, including admissions, administrative and career services departments, with open-door policies with respect to students and staff. Students have a right to request an appointment with any member of the Academy staff, regardless of the person’s title of function.
