IADT-Seattle Launches Lecture Series 2008

From Interior Designers and Architects to Digital Media Producers and Fine Artists, IADT-Seattle Speakers Exemplify Professional Excellence
Seattle, Washington, February 28, 2008 – The International Academy of Design & Technology in Seattle (Academy - Seattle) is excited to announce the Lecture Series 2008 that will bring guest lecturers who have a wide range of expertise that ranges from interior design and green building to digital media production and art. The mission of the Academy-Seattle Lecture Series 2008 is to give Academy Students and Faculty the opportunity to interact with and to learn from industry professionals who have earned a reputation for excellence in their respective industries. The guest speakers are also given the opportunity to meet Academy-Seattle students who will one day be entering the work force as interns and entry-level professionals. The Academy-Seattle Lecture Series 2008 also demonstrates the school's continuing commitment to promote hands-on opportunities that enrich the students' overall academic experience.
The first guest of the season is the artist, architect and designer Milan Heger, who will speak to the Academy-Seattle community on site at 6:30pm on Wednesday March 5th. Originally from what is now known as the Czech Republic, Milan Heger is internationally recognized as an expert in multi-disciplinary design: art, architecture, interiors, and furniture. He owns an architecture and design firm in Seattle, Heger Architecture, and has recently launched his own line of furniture called the Artifacts collection.

The International Academy of Design & Technology provides educational programs that are designed to prepare students for professional opportunities and career success in select design and technology fields. Both credential levels are not available for all programs.
