Project Runway Star Nick Verreos Returns to IADT-Seattle!

IADT- Seattle hosts a one-of-a-kind fashion workshop.

Seattle, Washington, January 24, 2008 – The International Academy of Design & Technology in Seattle (IADT - Seattle) is excited to announce the return of Nick Verreos to Seattle for a very special collaboration with IADT. Nick first visited Seattle in September 2006 to attend IADT's first annual fashion show, La Mode: An Evening of Fashion, a trip that made him "fall in love with the city." On January 25th, 2008, Nick will return to Seattle once again to lead a one-of-a-kind fashion workshop that will feature a series of informational and cutting edge topics revolving around fashion.

Nick's workshop will include lessons on fitting models on and off the runway, merchandising, business basics for starting your own line, how to get on Project Runway, working the red carpet, and the latest insider gossip on the fashion world. The dynamic workshop will conclude with time reserved for Q & A, photo opportunities and autographs.

Nick's latest trip to Seattle will also include a role as special judge for "Project Red Dress," a special gala event hosted by Fashion Group International (FGI-Seattle) on Friday, January 25th 2008 from 5:30pm to 9pm at the downtown Seattle Macys' Stewart Street Room. During "Project Red Dress," top Northwest fashion professionals will come together for an exciting evening of fashion entertainment showcasing new designers who are on the way up. Ten designer hopefuls will each create one red dress and compete for the top prize. Nick Verreos will be featured as the competition's special judge.
