August 10, 2011
Sacramento, Calif. (Aug. 10, 2011) – The International Academy of Design & Technology (IADT) - Sacramento will host Reflection, A Mirror of the Future, a student-produced Summer Showcase Aug. 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the IADT-Sacramento campus. Talented students from IADT’s various design programs completed complex creative projects designed to inspire attendees.
Projects will be displayed in a gallery-like setting, and visitors will have the opportunity to interact with the students who will provide project presentations and insight into their design philosophies during the event.
Also a great networking opportunity for employers and other creative professionals within the community, the showcase is designed to reveal the creative mission of IADT and its effect on students while unveiling the depth of thought behind each piece.
“I am so very proud of our students and the work they produce,” said Kathy Kerr-Carpenter, Program Chair for Fashion Design and Merchandising at IADT-Sacramento. “They truly are the future of design. Their work inspires me, as well as their efforts to grow, learn and change their lives through education.”
The community is invited to attend this special event to personally meet the designers and see their exceptional work.
This event is free, refreshments will be served.
