College Opens Door to Public

IADT-Detroit hosts two events on February 23, 2007; public welcome.

Troy, Mich. - The International Academy of Design & Technology (IADT) invites the public to its campus on Friday, February 23 rd for two exciting events. Campus Green, an annual event held at IADT where Interior Design students gather to discuss new innovations in eco-friendly products, starts the day from 9am-2:30pm. The event offers attendees the opportunity to speak to industry leaders, network with American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) members, listen to guest speakers, and get acquainted with the International Academy of Design & Technology. There is a minimal charge for non-IADT students. Refreshments will be served.

In the evening, all are welcome to attend the Industry Expo between 5:30pm and 8:30pm. Industry Expo”is a public open house that celebrates the accomplishments of its students and graduates in each of IADT's programs. During this event, Campus Green projects will be on display, student and graduate work will be prominently showcased, staff and faculty will be available to answer questions, and the admissions team will offer information sessions for those who are interested in learning more about the college. Refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

We have set this day and evening aside for the public and industry professionals to explore our college, said Dr. Robert Hagerty , president of the Troy campus.“We want the public to know who we are, where we are, and to share the extraordinary capabilities of our students and graduates.

The International Academy of Design & Technology-Detroit offers college degree programs in Fashion Design, Game Production, Interior Design, Graphic Design and Digital Media. IADT-Detroit is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award associate and bachelor's degrees.
