Two Faculty Members at IADT Awarded High Honors
Troy, Mich. Two faculty members of the International Academy of Design and Technology (IADT) recently received awards that stand as a tribute to the school's highly credentialed faculty and dedication to academic excellence.
Barbara Marini, ASID/IDEC, Program Chair of Interior Design at IADT, recently won the ASID Chapter Medalist Award from the Michigan Chapter. The award is coveted by interior design professionals because it is the highest honor that can be awarded at the chapter level.
In addition, Peter Schade, IADT's Program Chair of Visual Communication, received national recognition when the schools parent company, Career Education Corporation (CEC), announced that he was one of the top ten educators of the year. Schade was chosen from among the 5,000+ educators employed by CEC schools globally.
"I have always believed that we have outstanding faculty here at IADT-Detroit," said Kathleen Fish-Gilbert, the Director of Education. "It is wonderful to see that confirmed by these latest honors."
