About Our Community

IADT Tampa is just minutes from the Tampa International Airport, adjacent to major thoroughfares, and is accessible from all of west-central Florida. Affordable housing, public transportation and nearby shopping allow students to live, commute and work nearby.

Located on the west coast of Florida, Tampa is a cosmopolitan area that boasts many of the features and attractions of cities many times its size. Our city is home to numerous professional sports teams, a variety of stage and performing-arts venues and a number of museums covering a wide array of subjects and studies.

Tampa's ideal climate, beautiful beaches and proximity to some of the world's most-popular theme parks make it a year-round draw for visitors from around the world. Busch Gardens, the Lowery Park Zoo, the Florida Aquarium and the Traz Center for the Performing Arts ensure locals and tourists alike will never be at a loss for something to see, do or experience.

Shoppers flock to International Plaza, WestShore Mall and Hyde Park Village, while nightlife enthusiasts explore the many restaurants and clubs that can be found in the entertainment districts of historic Ybor City and downtown Tampa’s Channelside Bay Plaza.

Cultural and educational resources include the Tampa Museum of Art, which in 2010 opened a new facility downtown along the Hillsborough River, and the renowned Salvador Dali Museum, located in nearby St. Petersberg. With this vibrant city as its home, IADT is an ideal place to turn your passions into possibilities!

IADT Tampa ... where students come first, talent comes naturally and opportunity comes as a result!
