IADT's New Breed

Not everyone sees the world the same way. Some people know they’re a little different—and that’s actually one of their strengths—yet many traditional schools don’t get them.

IADT does.

We’re a new kind of school that believes education should focus on helping students evolve their raw talent – from the career-focused programs we offer, to the type of instructors who teach here, to a creative culture that encourages unconventional outlooks on life and learning.

If you know there’s something different within you, and you don’t want to conform to someone else’s idea of what you should be like, IADT is made for you. It will immerse you in a different kind of learning experience where you can blend your raw talent with design and technology to become part of a whole new breed of creative professional.

Collaborative Community, Career-Focused Curriculum

Degree programs at IADT are focused on the fields of Design, Media Arts, Technology, and Business. It’s a collaborative environment where you can develop your conceptual and technical skills, and learn how to take your work from concept to completion, using the type of industry-current technology and software used in your field.

We’ve developed our courses to work together, offering opportunities to collaborate with students from different programs so you can experience how the workplace actually works. This can give you an advantage when you start your career. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn from instructors who specialize in design and technology. In fact, a number of IADT’s instructors are practicing professionals who know the ins and out of the field you want to get into. The firsthand insight they could offer can help you get a better understanding of what it takes to make it out there.

Getting Started on Your Career

As your skills and talent evolve, you can begin to build a professional portfolio to show employers when you’re ready to start your career. A great portfolio is almost more important than a resume in creative and technical fields! But don’t worry, at IADT you can get help making your resume stand out, too – plus guidance on interviewing, networking and job opportunities in your field.

IADT offers an alternative for those who don’t want to conform to the traditional college structure. There are many avenues to success. The right path for you could be right here.
