IADT-Sacramento Pitches in at '50 Bikes for 50 Kids' Event

February 12, 2013 IADT General, IADT Sacramento 1 Comments

IADT-Sacramento recently assisted with the 50 Bikes for 50 Kids event in which more than 200 volunteers helped build bicycles for 50 local kids as part of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and the National Day of Service.

The children who received the new bikes were nominated by local youth organizations and schools based on their demonstration of values such as trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship. IADT-Sacramento President Patti Hoffman was on the committee that reviewed the nomination essays, while Graphic Design student Terence Sotelo designed the logo below for the event.
