Basically, Graphic Design deals with the visual side of the project, while Web Design focuses on the functionality (how the system operates). The Graphic Design program can develop your ability to create aesthetically pleasing visuals, while Web Design promotes logical thinking and problem solving. Both degrees demand strong attention to detail as well as good design sense and organizational skills. Neither one is of these degrees is “more important” or “more fun” than the other - it just depends on what your interests and priorities are.
