IADT Nashville - About Our Community
The IADT Nashville campus is located in a convenient suburban setting adjacent to major thoroughfares and accessible from all parts of the metropolitan area. Affordable housing, public transportation and nearby shopping allow students to live, commute and work nearby.
Nashville is a cultural powerhouse, where residents and tourists alike can visit hundreds of live-music and performing-and-visual arts venues and museums. The city enjoys a mild, pleasant climate for most of the year, and it ranks as one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the South.
Known as Music City USA, Nashville is headquarters for more than 130 music publishers, 180 recording studios and 80 different record labels.* The Country Music Hall of Fame, designed to resemble a gigantic piano keyboard, features a vast collection of music memorabilia and interactive exhibits.
The city is abuzz with creative energy. On any given evening, the music clubs and honky-tonk bars of Lower Broadway, Printer's Alley and Second Avenue offer an abundance of tight-sounding bands that play for music fans drawn to the city from around the world. Just a few miles east of downtown, the Grand Ole Opry raises its curtains several times each week.
Cultural and educational resources include the Frist Center for the Visual Arts, which presents high quality exhibitions with related educational programs and community-outreach activities. The world-class facility's spacious galleries draw a diverse crowd from Nashville's rapidly expanding visual-arts scene. With this vibrant city as its home, IADT is an ideal place to turn your passions into possibilities!
IADT Nashville ... where students come first, talent comes naturally and opportunity comes as a result!
