Return Engagement of Project Runway's Nick Verreos and a first-time appearance by celebrity designer Sweet P.

Seattle, (August 4, 2008) - The International Academy of Design & Technology in Seattle (Academy - Seattle) is excited to announce that Imagine! will take place on its Tukwila campus. Imagine! will showcase a multi-disciplinary approach to design and include the exhibition and work of students from the Academy's digital arts, interior design and fashion design programs. The doors will open Friday, August 29th at 7:00pm with a media presentation of student work in the digital arts at 7:15pm. The fashion show will start at 8:30pm on site under canopies and in tents in the same style as the celebrated Fashion Week in New York City. Bravo TV's Project Runway Celebrity Designers Nick Verreos and Sweet P. will host the fashion show. Throughout the evening, an interior design exhibit will be on display. A special VIP reception and charity silent auction will top off the evening.

If you're interested in any of the many disciplines of design, then this gala event is the place to be. Hosts Nick Verreos and Sweet P. will present the Northwest's three leading industry professionals lifetime achievement awards. The recipients of the lifetime achievement awards will be kept secret and announced the evening of the event.

This year's charity partner and recipient of all the proceeds from the silent auction is the Face, Heart and Mind Foundation. Founded in 2002 by Dr. Henri P. Gaboriau, Director of Sammamish Center for Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Jim Silsby, Director of Development for Boys and Girls Town of Missouri, the Face, Heart and Mind Foundation provides reconstructive plastic surgery and mental health counseling to children without access to the resources necessary for physical and psychological recovery. The purpose of the Face, Heart and Mind Foundation is to provide the comprehensive healing experience necessary for victims of abuse to live full, happy and productive lives. Donated items for the auction include work from students, sponsors, and local vendors.
